With the epidural in.

The Lonely Men's Club.
Old Men doing old men stuff.
"Here we sit like birds in the wilderness, birds in the wilderness, birds in the wilderness..."
8:50 PM, The night is getting longer...
BUT... There is GOOD news!
Mels reached a 9!

-This is nurse Trina... She is GREAT! We have had really good nurses and doctors!

---- 8:43 PM, We're getting closer! Mel just hit a 9 and is completely effaced! Our little boy should be coming soon.

---- 7:45 PM, I want to thank everyone for leaving comments! They are really fun for Mel to hear, they help keep her motivated so Please keep them coming! Thank you again.

---- 7:35 PM, No new pictures but we have some good news. Mel was just checked and she is at a 5+ and is 90 to 95% effaced! We found out that her contractions weren't strong enough to do anything so they upped her pitocin which is helping to move things along a little.

---- 6:38 PM, Mel isn't progressing very well so they have hooked Mel up to more machines to help watch after her and the baby. In twenty or so minutes we will know more about what is going on. She is staying in good spirits and trucking on! Keep her and the baby in your prayers.

These Grandpas look like they are having too much fun!
Mel and her sister Stephanie

Derek and Travis

We have been watching the helicopter come and go.

We have a great view of the helipad!

The Red, (top) line is the babies heart beat and the blue (bottom) line is Mel's contractions.
Time for another nap.
I figured out the bed.

More visitors.
Mom and Mom.

2:09, Mel was given her epidural.

Life is good again!

Ok....since Mel likes comments I thought I would tell you what Jer said when I was having Wyatt...don't know if you've ever seen Bill Cosby's stand-up movie....but he does this skit about labor....well Jer decided it would be funny to quote him while I was pushing...it actually was funny and since I had an epidural I wasn't in real pain and the laughing helped do some of the work....anyway the line goes.....Push 'em out, shove 'em out WAAAAAYYYYY OUT! LOL

Those little suckers don't come out until they are good an ready! I hope he doesn't follow in Isaac's footsteps. Isaac took three days to get here when they "induced" me. He came out when he was good and ready! Hang in there! I hope you don't have any "Natzi" nurses. If you have ....you will know EXACTLY what I mean!
